Personal introduction:
Tian Liangchen, PhD in Education, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Tin Ka Ping School of Education Science, Jiangnan University.
His main research interests are educational psychology on learning and teaching, theory of curriculum and instructiona, and teacher learning. He has published over 80 academic papers in journals such as Journal of Higher Education, Curriculum, Teaching Material and Method, Global Education, Educational Research and Experiment, Teacher Education Research, E-education Research, Journal of Distance Education, China Education Daily, and Guangming Daily. He has also published 8 books and textbooks.
Dr. Tian has presided over more than 10 research projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education Foundation on Humanities and Social Science, the New Liberal Arts Construction Project of the Ministry of Education, and the Education Planning Project of Jiangsu Province.
He has received awards such as the Third Prize of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jiangsu Province, the Second Prize of Teaching Achievement of Jiansu Province, and the First Prize of National Teaching Achievement. Dr. Tian has led nearly 20 provincial and national projects on teacher training.
Dr. Tian currently is a member of the Steering Committee of Education Sciences of the Ministry of Education, an executive Mmember of the National Academic Council of Curriculum Theory, the deputy director of the Professional Committee on Teacher Development Research of Chinese Society for Taoxingzhi Studies, an executive member of the National Logic Education Committee, and an executive memebr of the National Professional Committee on Qualitative Research of Psychology.
