Jiangnan University was approved to establish a Master's program in Education Management in 2019. The degree program has formed a professional team with a reasonable academic structure, diverse academic backgrounds, and strong research capabilities. The mentor team consists of 7 professors and 18 associate professors, with nearly 100% of them holding doctoral degrees. The university has a national-level humanities education base for undergraduate students, Jiangsu Provincial Teacher Training and Research Base, and a national training base for primary and secondary school teachers authorized by the Ministry of Education. It has undertaken over 60 national and provincial-level projects, receiving more than 40 awards at the provincial and ministerial levels. The university has published over 50 books and textbooks, and has published nearly 600 papers, including close to 200 high-quality papers indexed by SCI, CSSCI, and other databases. Its achievements in talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, and cultural innovation have been widely recognized and praised by academia and society.


The part-time Master's program in Education Management at the School of Humanities, Jiangnan University aims to cultivate educational management professionals in basic education who have a broad vision, comprehensive qualities, outstanding abilities, and can meet the high-quality development requirements of contemporary education in China. The specific objectives are as follows:

1. Love the motherland and support the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Have a passion for education and abide by the professional ethics of teachers. Cultivate students' moral character, serve as a role model, be proactive, and dare to innovate.

2. Master modern educational theories and possess a solid foundation in education and disciplinary knowledge. Understand the forefront and development trends of education and disciplinary specialties.

3. Have strong innovative abilities in educational teaching practices and management, and be capable of carrying out educational management work competently and creatively.

4. Possess a certain level of digital education teaching and management skills, and effectively utilize digital technology and resources to carry out educational management work creatively.

5. Have the awareness and ability to identify and solve practical problems in educational teaching management, as well as a lifelong learning and development mindset.

6. Be proficient in reading foreign language literature related to the profession.
