Educational Data Mining, Machine Learning, learning analytics

Personal introduction: (text description about 500 words)

Since I started working in the Department of Educational Technology, I have mainly taught basic computer courses such as "Advanced Language Programming", "Data Structure", and "Algorithm Design and Analysis". In terms of research, I have been focusing on research in the fields of machine learning, educational data mining, and learning analysis. I have completed data collection on MOOC platforms, such as topic and sentiment analysis of course discussion areas and comment areas; personalized recommendations of learning resources, extracurricular Research on the difficulty grading model of reading materials.

Research currently underway includes:

1. From the perspective of learning analysis, design the prototype and data measurement framework of China’s “student portraits”;

2. In the context of e-learning, design students' "emotional profiles", study the relationship between emotional factors, academic outcomes, and career choices, establish a prediction model, and then design targeted interventions.

3. During the process of collaborative learning and collaborative problem solving, study the emotional state of learners and the changes in emotions during interactive activities.

4. Design and application of knowledge tracking model. Taking the undergraduate course Python programming as an example, we label data (objective questions and programming questions), and apply Bayesian models and deep learning models to evaluate and predict students' knowledge mastery.
