According to the requirements of the enrollment guide for doctoral candidates of Jiangnan University in 2021, the recruitment of doctoral candidates of the College of humanities adheres to the principles of "science, standardization, fairness and justice", comprehensively inspects the comprehensive quality of candidates, and selects the best candidates.

Ⅰ.  Application conditions

    Please refer to the enrollment guide for doctoral candidates of Jiangnan University in 2021 for details. Candidates are required to complete online registration within the specified time, and fill in the professional and intended tutors directly.

Ⅱ.  Material requirements

1.  After successful online registration, candidates should send the following e-materials to the Post Graduate Enrollment Office of the College of humanities before 5:00 p.m. on December 10: renwen.admission @ jiangnan.edu.cn

    (1) List of scientific research achievements of doctoral candidates (download address: http://renwen.jiangnan.edu.cn/info/1013/3147.htm )

    (2) Copies of published (including employed) papers, award certificates or other materials that can prove the applicant's scientific research ability and level;

    (3) Personal ppt brief introduction (very important), mainly includes personal basic information, research projects that have been done, published papers (indicate the inclusion), applied patents (indicate whether authorized), projects presided over or undertaken (municipal level or above, including municipal level), awards (school level or above, including school level) and so on. It is required to be simple and clear. Ppt writing should be standardized, and references should meet the requirements of Jiangnan University doctoral dissertation writing.

2.  Candidates who have passed the college material audit must submit or mail the following paper materials to the college by SF express before December 18 (printed or copied on A4 paper)

    (1) "Online registration information form for doctoral degree candidates" (candidates of master's degree and doctoral degree are signed and sealed by the Party branch of the college, and other candidates are signed and sealed by the personnel department or archives department of the unit they belong to);

    (2) Two "expert recommendation letters" (the recommender must be a professor or an expert with equivalent professional and technical title in the discipline or professional field, and must have the signature of the recommender himself and the seal of the unit where the expert is located);

    (3) "Physical examination form for doctoral entrance examination of Jiangnan University" (candidates of master's degree and doctor's degree are not required to provide; according to the contents in the form, they should go to the hospital of grade 2A or above or the university hospital they study in for physical examination; "past medical history" should be filled in truthfully; the conclusion and seal of the hospital should be provided.)

    (4) A copy of the front and back of the ID card;

    (5) Questionnaire on the ideological and political situation of graduate students in Jiangnan University;

    (6) Application form for master's degree and doctoral program of Jiangnan University (candidates for master's degree and doctoral program);

    (7) Copies of undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree certificate;

    (8) A copy of the master's student ID card and the original of the study report card (fresh candidates and candidates for master's and doctoral programs);

    (9) Copies of master's degree certificate and master's degree certificate (candidates who have obtained master's degree);

    (10) A copy of the certificate issued by the service center for studying abroad of the Ministry of Education (candidates who have obtained a degree abroad);

    (11) Copy of English proficiency certificate;

    (12) Copies of published papers, award certificates or other materials that can prove the applicant's scientific research ability and level (candidates with the same academic level must provide them);

    (13) A research plan of no less than 2000 words;

    (14) List of scientific research achievements of doctoral candidates.

    Note: the above materials will be put into students' files after admission. Those who cheat will be disqualified for entrance examination, admission, enrollment or student status according to relevant regulations no matter when they are verified.

Ⅲ.  Assessment process

1.  Material audit

    The college shall organize an expert group to review the candidates' application materials, determine the list of candidates entering the comprehensive assessment stage, and publish it on the homepage of the college website.

2.  Comprehensive assessment

    (1) Comprehensive interview content: English, design education principle, scientific research literacy, professional comprehensive interview. The full scores of English, principles of design education and scientific research literacy are all 100 points, and 60 points or above are qualified, which are not included in the total score, but those who are not qualified will not be admitted.

    (2) Candidates are required to prepare an 8-minute PPT in advance. The main contents include candidates' personal profile, scientific research achievements and research directions. The experts comprehensively assess the basic scientific research ability and scientific research quality (including scientific research potential, academic level, innovation ability, etc.) and score them in the way of "ask and answer". The interview time for each candidate is about 30 minutes.

    (3) The candidates with the same academic level need to test the natural dialectics organized by the school, and those who pass the test will enter the college.

    The college adds two main courses of master's degree, design and fundamentals of education, to the candidates with the same academic level. The examination form is written examination, and the examination time is 3 hours. Only those who pass the examination (60 points or above) can enter the comprehensive interview.

Ⅳ.  Admission

1. According to the allocation principle of doctoral candidates' recruitment index and the enrollment index scheme of this year, candidates are ranked according to the results of comprehensive interview, and enter the admission process from high to low. Professional comprehensive interview scores below 60 points can not be admitted.

2. The working group of graduate enrollment will submit the list of candidates to the leading group of graduate enrollment for review, and the candidates can be accepted only after they have no objection.
