Director of the Center: Professor Chen Mingxuan

The Education Information Research Center of Jiangnan University is one of the key research base of philosophy and social science in Jiangsu College and university, as well as the key research base of humanities and social sciences of Jiangnan University. The Center adaptes to the needs of educational informatization and digital learning industry to work, focusing on the national and Jiangsu provincial strategic needs of education modernization, as well as on the theoretical and practical issues of educational informationization, to do the researches on developing strategies and applied countermeasures. This direction to work make center become an important think-tank of government so that it can provide guidance and support for teaching reform and innovation.

The center devotes to study the understanding learning and the process and mechanism of cognition under information environment, the theory and method of Learning Resource design and development, adaptive learning environment and technology. The studies of the Center focus on to explore the law of teaching and learning in the information environment, to tackle key problems of the digital study technology, and to develop the e-learning system and resources.
